Riverside Majestic Kuching is strategically located in the heart of Kuching's entertainment, dining, shopping and business district. Riverside Majestic Kuching is only 20 minutes from the Kuching International Airport and minutes away from the major tourist attractions in the city. Overlooking the historical Fort Margherita across the Sarawak River, it commands a panoramic view of the city and the Kuching Waterfront and is adjacent to a 5-storey shopping podium with a Cineplex and bowling alleys. Each guestroom contains in-house movies, data port, mini bar, room deposit box and daily newspaper. Hotel amenities provided at Riverside Majestic Kuching include dry cleaning and laundry, 24 hr room service, restaurants, child care service and bar.
Renovation Notice: Series Renovation at the Riverside Majestic Hotel will commence on 11th January 2010. During Phase 1 from 11th January until end of March 2010 (expected) the Lobby Bar and parts of the Lobby will be renovated. During this period the Check-in and Check-out operations will not be affected as the renovation will be isolated.
In Phase 2 from 22nd February until end of May 2010 (expected) works will commence at the whole Lobby and the All-Day-Dining Restaurant (Café Majestic). The Reception’s operations will be relocated to the hotel’s Casablanca Lounge on the Mezzanine Floor, whilst All-Day dining will be served at the River Palace Restaurant on the 3rd Floor. During this period the hotel expects the upgrading works to its Lift Lobby to start on 28th May and to be completed within one week. Phase 3 from 1st April until end of June (expected) will see the renovation of the hotel’s Business Centre at its new location on the 3rd Floor. As this location is out of the way of hotel guests, there will be minimal disturbance.
The hotel’s guestrooms, function rooms and swimming pool will not be affected at this juncture. Construction works will be carried out only from Monday to Saturday between 09:00am and 17:00pm. The hotel will undertake all necessary measures to make certain that all aspects of safety, security and comfort of the guests continue to be a priority during this time.
